President Buhari presenting the 2016 National Budget to the National Assembly
President Muhammadu Buhari has shifted the date of his presentation of the 2017 budget again.
The new date is now Wednesday, December 14.
This bit of information was revealed in the Senate during plenary on Tuesday, December 6, when senate president Bukola Saraki announced the receipt of a letter from the president seeking to come for the presentation of the 2017 budget.

However, instead of this week, the president requested to present the 2017 budget next week on December 14 by 10am.
Recall that the president had moved the presentation to today, December 6 from an earlier reported date of December 1.
The letter also comes just days after President Buhari held a closed-door meeting with the senate president Bukola Saraki in the Aso Rock presidential villa on Thursday, December 1 after failing to present the budget.
Bashir Ahmad, personal assistant to President Buhari on new media, informed Nigerians about the meeting through his official Twitter account.
