John Legend’s Luggage gets Stolen at JFK Airport

Popular Musician John Legend had one of those rough travel days in New York at the JFK airport where someone stole his luggage with contents worth $31,000.

John arrived at JFK and a Delta greeter made a mistake and left his bag on the luggage cart. Someone grabbed the bag while it was left unattended. According to TMZ, the bag contained a pair of Cartier Panther cuff links with clear and green stones, valued at $30k. The clothes inside were valued at $500, and there was a $500 pair of eyeglasses.

Although, it is uncertain if the thief knew he was stealing John Legend’s luggage, but the police were able to spot the culprit through a surveillance video and thankfully John got his luggage back.

The police said the thief was John’s livery driver, but John says that was not the case. It turned out that the thief is a livery driver who has had multiple problems with the law at JFK airport.
