Batista does not miss his days in the WWE.
The former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion is now focused on his acting career after having racked up some pretty big roles in films such as Guardians Of The Galaxy and Bladerunner. With his newfound success in Hollywood, Batista doesn't bat an eye when it comes to missing his WWE days.
He also had a brief stint in the mixed martial arts (MMA) world but chose not to continue down that path after winning his first pro bout. Rather than taking injuries inside the Octagon or squared circle, Batista is content earning millions starring in movies on the big screen.
Batista recently joined his former fellow WWE Superstar Chris Jericho on his podcast Talk Is Jericho to promote Guardians Of The Galaxy 2, and noted that while he does miss actually wrestling, he doesn't miss being a part of the WWE (quotes via Wrestling-Edge):
“Yeah, I miss it a lot. … There’s nothing like it, you know that. There’s just an adrenaline rush that goes along with it.
"What I don’t miss is the company, to be honest with you. I don’t miss WWE. I miss wrestling, I just don’t miss dealing with the company and its bulls***.
"Yeah it’s the bullshit man, it’s just too much bulls**t.”
Jericho stated that he's surprised that WWE hasn't contacted him about a possible return, to which Batista responded that he himself has inquired about a return to the company - but only to run a program with Triple H.
The WWE, however, is not on board with the idea, thus a return for 'The Animal' doesn't seem to be in the cards anytime soon:
“I’ve asked, yeah, I’ve asked. Well, there’s… I’ve asked for what I want. I’ll tell you and I’ve talked to Hunter about it and I’ve talked to Vince about it.
"I said I would come back and run a whole program with Hunter. That’s the only thing I’m interested in doing. They’re just not interested in it, you know?”
What are your thoughts on a possible return to the WWE for Batista? Would you be interested in seeing one last program between him and Triple H going forward? Or should he stick to making movies in Hollywood?
