DSTV, a popular digital satellite TV service in Africa, launched in 1995, providing various bouquets offering general entertainment, movies, lifestyle & culture, sport, documentaries, news & commerce, children, music, religion and consumer channels to MultiChoice subscribers.
Ever since the introduction of the service, it has been a part of Nigerians’ boredom regulator because of its stations which can make someone’s eyes glued to the television for a whole lot of time.
The entertainment section of the service is absolutely perfect as the stations that falls into this category is bound to supply subscribers with movies, music and many other entertaining programs.
Another section is Sports which has got many subscribers guilty of not wanting to do anything else especially when there is live transmission of their favorite football teams playing matches at that particular moment.
To the serious types of subscribers, there are also educative channels that connect them to the service by focusing exclusively on education probably by solving various school questions, or having interactive sessions on edu or having some sorts of astonishing programs based on education.
And yes, lest I forget the religion extremists, there are various stations that have nothing to show other than religious issues, and you are free to select any of these stations based on your own religion.
I think its justified that you have no choice, but to get addicted to your TV set provided you have a paid working subscription.
However, interests in humans vary as what you like most might be one of the things I have little interest in. Many love sports while we have people who specializes their interests music or education, and also we have people who can’t go a day without seeing different types of movies.
So left to our loyal readers, as a lover of DSTV stations, which of its stations you can’t go a day without watching? Be sincere and drop your comments below.
