The Arsenal man’s stunning goal against Crystal Palace was immediately compared to the United star’s strike against Sunderland, but which was better?
Football is just brilliant sometimes, isn’t it?
There’s nothing better than seeing some of the game’s best stars doing ridiculous things, and in the Premier League we’ve been blessed with that twice in the past week.
Following on from Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s remarkable scorpion kick goal for Manchester United against Sunderland on Boxing Day, Olivier Giroud only went and did the same thing for Arsenal against Crystal Palace on New Year’s Day.
Football Fans on Twitter were also quick to compare the two similar strikes and many were in agreement that the Gunners man, in just his second Premier League start of the season, trumps his United counterpart.
