Yaya Toure has been charged for drink-driving, according to reliable reports.
Reports have it that the Ivorian midfielder was charged last Tuesday with driving while his alcohol level was above the legal limit. Though, he was granted bail and is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on 13 December.
Toure was part of the Manchester city side that lost to Chelsea 3-1 last Saturday following his apology for earlier misunderstandings with Pep Guardiola as the Spanish boss and his agent, Dimtri Seluk were involved in a war of words.
On his return to action, the Ivorian scored twice against Crystal Palace which was greeted by much applause by football fans and Pep Guardiola who reckoned the midfielder is a quality and can help them deliver title this season.
