Manchester United start the defence of the FA Cup with a home draw to Championship side Reading, managed by former player Jaap Stam.
United won a record-equalling 12th FA Cup with a 2-1 in over Crystal Palace, in what was Louis van Gaal’s final game as manager.
Elsewhere, Pep Guardiola’s first taste of FA Cup action will be when he takes his Manchester City side to West Ham, while Antonio Conte’s Chelsea got an easier draw with Peterborough United or Notts County.
Liverpool will host Newport County or Plymouth and Arsenal will travel to Preston as Tottenham host Aston Villa.
The 32 third-round ties will be played across the weekend of 6-9 January 2017.
