Robert Lewandowski is one of the best number nines in world football.
The Poland international scored 103 goals in 187 appearances for Borussia Dortmund and has improved his goalscoring ratio since joining Bayern Munich in 2014.
Lewandowski scored his 84th and 85th goals for Bayern in a 3-1 away victory over Mainz on Friday evening - and his second goal of the night was, to the surprise of many football fans, a free-kick.
The 28-year-old is a penalty box predator and the majority of his goals are close-range finishes, headers, that sort of thing.
You rarely see him step up and score an inch-perfect free-kick but that’s precisely what happened this evening.

Lewandowski took a short run up before curling the ball past Mainz goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, who could do nothing but stare as the net bulged.

Although it’s rare to see Lewandowski score a free-kick, he has netted one before in his career - and a pretty famous one, for that matter.
His final goal for Dortmund was this superb free-kick away at Hertha Berlin in May 2014.
It’s safe to assume, though, that Lewandowski will score many more goals for Bayern before he leaves the Allianz Arena.
